Tse Ernest Chi went to Government Bilingual High School (GBHS) in Bafoussam. In 2010, he received his General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) Ordinary Level and passed all eleven subjects with A’s. At the G.C.E. Advanced Level, again, he received A’s in all five science subjects. In July 2012, he passed the entrance exam into the National Advanced School of Engineering (NASE) Yaoundé. In September, he will be starting his 3rd year and hopes to be in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Association of Anglophone Students of Polytechnic Yaoundé (ASPY) where he has attended multiple leadership and entrepreneurship conferences to prepare for his future. Both of the individuals that recommended him called his academic performance “excellent.” In his free time, he is part of an orientation committee, which helps newcomers adjust to life at NASE.
Mfondoh Loveline Ngum was born in Bafut, Cameroon and is a second year student at the University of Buea in Cameroon with a major in Agriculture. Loveline is 21 years old and was a student at PSS Mankon for 7 years where she earned the GCE Advanced and Ordinary Level Certificates respectively.
Loveline has always been fascinated by agriculture in Cameroon, and Africa at large given that agriculture is the backbone of livelihoods in the African continent. Her lifelong goal is to earn a PhD in Agriculture with a main research focus on diseases that plaque crops and animals and possible remedies. She enjoys dancing, reading, watching plant and animal documentaries during her free time.
Lekunga Titalanga is from the Bali-Nyonga village in the North West Region of Cameroon. In December of 2010, she relocated to the United States with her son. At first, she was a caregiver at a group home that serves individuals with behavioral health problems. She has since completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) school. In November of 2012, she started at Carrington College in Phoenix, Arizona to become a Registered Nurse (ADN). She is very excited to be graduating in November 2014. Her passion has always been helping others and being able to touch others lives in whatever way she can. Her dream is to continue her education and receive Bachelors in Nursing so that she may become a Midwife in the future.
